Very nice examples of a wide range of website types. I enjoy gradients, as well, and find that they’re one of the reasons I personally respond to Web 2.0 in such a positive way.

Some nice sites there, it’s amazing how much difference just a subtle gradient can make compared to a flat colour.

Great collection, I’ve been using gradients in web design but they’re normally more extreme than this. I’ll have to try more subtle effects from now on.

Although I like gradients, my personal taste goes out to the really subtle ones. (that’s why I used it on my blog as well LOL) Gradients give backgrounds, buttons, … just that little sparkle which makes them so nice, but you need to think it over and tweak it a bit to get it just right (I think your grey buttons are a nice example of good design).
